TThis is the 'Dakota' version's cockpit
A special 'Press-flight' over Lelystad and the 'polders'
So nice to be on board of the PH-PBA !  (PBA stands for 'Prins Bernhard' the former royal plane ! )
TThe sky is the limit...
The position just next to the engine makes that you can smell the fuel even inside ! Marvellous !
The civil version is painted in 'civil colors'.
Flying over Holland...

We take you to Thessaloniki Mikra where the C-47 is still in loyal service !
Enjoy these images below at the greek platform and in the skies
Soon as you set the first step on the paltform you get this special feeling....
For many skilled pilots this machine is the perfect way to build up your 'flying hours'
Like a Rolls Royce but then totally different.....  ;-)  Still a lot of space inside !

Charis thanks for your kind hospitality and interview !
Not just...   no Sir ! This is a real cockpit !     A traditional analog hard working office this is ;-)
So nice that in Greece there is the possibility still to experience this special 'old-fashon flying' feeling

Engines: Most Pratt & Whitney R-2000s and Wright R-1820 Cyclones
So far the C-47 D, with best regards from Tessaloniki Greece !
